THE STORY

Fazenda Inhame is a specialty coffee farm in the town of Campos Alto, Cerrado Mineiro, Minas Gerais. Cerrado Mineiro has a long history of coffee production and it produces coffees with a discernible regional character. Coffees from Cerrado Mineiro are characteristically full of body and sweetness with very low acidity, prominent notes of chocolate and a mineralic nuance.

Fifth generation coffee farmer Bruno Antonio Franco and his father Marcos have run the farm for over fifty years. The farm has pursued quality coffee production through innovation in fermentation, processing and varietal selections. Fazenda Inhame is UTZ certified and has practices in place which aim to preserve the local ecosystem, maintain wildlife corridors, protect endangered species and conserve water. Coffee is cultivated on less than one sixth of the farm, allowing the natural environment to flourish.

This lot of Fazenda Inhame is a Catucaí 2SL varietal selection processed in the natural method. It has intense sweetness and a creamy and heavy mouthfeel. We love its warm and comforting notes of chocolate, caramel and nougat; reminiscent of our favorite candy bars. Please enjoy Fazenda Inhame!
