The Story

Finca Trapiche is a beautiful coffee farm located in the mountains of Samaipata, Bolivia. Samaipata is traditionally a wine growing region and has only recently begun producing coffee. Our long time producing partners in Bolivia, Daniela and Pedro Rodriguez were at the forefront of this transition. They now have four farms in the region and work with local farmers to help share their significant coffee producing knowledge.

Finca Trapiche is named after a type of mill used to extract juice from sugarcane. At the entrance to the farm sits a large and very old trapiche. The farm has kept it’s old growth native trees, many of which are over 100 years old. The farm sits at the top of many rolling mountainous hills outside of Santa Cruz. The micro-climate here is unique and well suited to quality coffee production.

This is a Bourbon selection processed in the washed method. We love it’s exotic notes of spice, round and warm profile and lingering sweet aftertaste. Please enjoy Finca Trapiche!
